The Third Annual Boorowa Literary Festival is just around the corner!

"Where writers and readers talk about reading and writing"

July 4 and July 5, 2025, Friday evening and Saturday day.

We are lucky to have 6 excellent authors in conversation with local readers. Our line-up includes Tim Ayliffe, Siang Lu, Qin Qin, Matthew Spencer, Margaret Hickey and Candice Fox.

All sessions are in the auditorium of the Boorowa Recreation and Sports Club, Market Street, Boorowa.

The schedule is as follows:

Tim Ayliffe, in conversation with Greg Carnell, 6.30pm Friday July 4.

Siang Lu is in conversation with Jeremy Clarke at 10am- 11am Saturday July 5.

Qin Qin is in conversation with Nicky Merriman at 11.30am to 12.30pm.

Matthew Spencer is in conversation with Chris Anderson at 1.30 to 2.30pm.

Margaret Hickey is in conversation with Mary Johnson from 2.45pm to 3.45pm.

Candice Fox is in conversation with Jeremy Clarke at 4.30pm to 5.30pm.

Prolific Tim Ayliffe will be in conversation at our Third Literary Festival, Friday July 4, from 630pm to 730 pm, at the wine bar.

[NB: Due to popularity, Tim's talk has now been moved to the Boorowa Rec Club, as we have now outgrown the wine bar!! All sessions now in the Rec Club).

Tim has recently published his 5th book in a series of political thrillers and is also a wealth of views about Australian rugby.

Local reader Greg Carnell will chat with Tim about his life and work.
